1 – Are Rumpl blankets waterproof?

Rumpl blankets are not waterproof, however they are water resistant. The blankets feature a 90/10 DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish, which means they have a coating that repels water and stains. Fair Trade Finder has tested Rumpl blankets in rain and snow and found them to stay very dry and be easy to clean in terms of stains and dirt.

2 – How warm is the Rumpl blanket?

Rumpl blankets do not have an official temperature rating, however the website suggests the blankets be used in temperatures as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit. We have tested the Rumpl original puffy blanket and NanoLoft poncho in temperatures as low as 30 degree Fahrenheit as found them to be very warm.

Rumpl uses recyclable materials and low-carbon shipping methods to lessen their environmental impact. Rumpl is also committed to reducing their carbon impact by contributing 1% of sales to environmental organizations.
