Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody – Men

Best seller Nano Puff Hoody Best Selling Patagonia Hoodies and Sweatshirts

The Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody is a classic jacket that will stand the test of time while looking amazing. It’s an excellent cold-weather layering garment for trekking, hiking, and skiing, owing to the slick fabrics on both the inside and exterior. It’s also available in styles women.

Climbers, especially those who love multi-pitch climbing, have long used the hoody, which has been around for decades. Because it’s so small when folded up and linked to the climbing harness, the Nano Puff is great for multi-pitch climbs.

Patagonia hasn’t veered too far from its tried-and-true design when it comes to breathability. The Nano Puff compresses relatively little into its chest pocket when compared to other Patagonia synthetic options, making it a fantastic choice for trekking and mountain climbing.

πŸ† PRO TIP: If you don’t need a hood, go for the cheaper Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket, which is also available in styles for men and women. This is Patagonia’s most best-selling jacket of all time.

Description

Weather resistance

The Nano Puff Hoody is a weather-resistant lightweight jacket. The outer shell is sewn-through, but the nylon interior hides the seams. The waterproof DWR coating on the Puff’s outside fabric shows stitching. If the weather seems iffy, have a light shell layer on hand. The Nano Puff’s interior fabric resists wind after it passes through the outside fabric. We’ve seen that with other models.

Warmth

The Patagonia Nano Puff has Primaloft Gold Eco insulation is held in place by quilted squares. It keeps you toasty even when wet. The tight hem keeps you warm, while the loose wrist cuffs allow some heat escape to keep your body temperature regulated.

Compressibility

Compressibility makes the Nano Puff Hoody ideal for travel and multi-pitch climbing. Unlike other insulated jackets, the Nano Puff Hoody packs down compact. Remember that the smaller the compression, the longer it takes to compress. While the Nano Puff may fit in a pocket, it requires some effort. The jacket has a clip-in loop for a belt.

Comfort

The Nano Puff Hoody is lightweight and functional. The jacket layers nicely under a shell. The non-adjustable hood is great for climbing.

If you completely zip the jacket against your face, the micro-fleece patches create a β€œzipper garage.” There are two deep zipped hand pockets lined with nylon and a large internal zippered pocket on the left chest. The jacket can be folded up into this pocket.
