It’s basically a portable power station that can also jump-start most vehicles, including cars, bikes, boats, ATVs, RVs, Tractors and even boats.

Packaging
The Lokithor comes well-packed and protected, in a sturdy cardboard box with thick foam insulation. The cables come in a black, water resistant bag with a drawstring closure.
Build and Design
The Lokithor is compact and portable, with a carry handle on top. There are rubber grips on the bottom so it stays in place on any surface. It also has two bumpers on the back for shock resistance.
One of my favorite design features are rubber flap covers that protect each output. This prevents dust, dirt and moisture from entering the outputs.
It has dimensions of 10.12 L x 5.91 W x 6.18 H inches, and weighs about 7 pounds. It’s light and small enough to carry in a backpack.
The Lokithor is not waterproof rated, however it is water resistant because of the integrated car wash feature.
LCD Screen
There is an LCD screen that provides operational data, including charging status, DC/USB-A/USB-C output, external input, voltage, time unit, pressure unit and battery level.
The LCD screen gives you information about the general status of the battery, like whether it is turned on or if a device is connected. However, it doesn’t provide detailed information, such as the percentage of remaining battery capacity or the specific output wattage of a connected device.
Lokithor AW401 Features and Specifications
1 – Power Bank
At its core, the Lokithor is a Lithium Polymer portable power bank with capacity of 20000mAh and output of 60-watts.
The power bank can be turned on by pressing a red power button on the upper left of the battery.
2 – Charging Capabilities
The Lokithor can be charged using the DC or USB-C inputs. My preference is to charge it using the USB-C, which takes about 6 hours to reach 80%.
The DC output is activated by pressing the “DC OUT” button, while the USB ports are automatically turned on when you connect a device.
I’ve also used it to charge my 2020 MacBook Air, and was able to get one full charge with the battery capacity around 50%.
As a side note, I appreciate that Lokithor provides a USB-C to USB-A cable. Manufacturers often don’t think about details like this, and it allows you to charge the device without needing to buy adapters. Apple could learn something from this, since they don’t provide comparable adapters for the iPhone 14. This creates a big inconvenience when trying to use existing chargers.
3 – Car Washer
The Lokithor has an integrated “high pressure car washer”. This built-in water pump is powered by the internal battery and provides up to 200 PSI pressures. It comes with a detachable handheld shower head with multiple settings, like jet, fan, mist, and shower.
For example, you can use water collected from a lake, or rainwater standing in a bucket. The Lokithor hose pump has a filter on the end to remove any dirt and debris in the water It’s a great way to conserve water and repurpose it to wash your car or anything else.
You can also use the washer as a camping shower – just heat the water in advance and run it through the water pump. The handheld shower head is a great add-on for this purpose.
However, in my experience, the Lokithor’s water pressure is lower than a garden hose. Thus, I wouldn’t use it to clean anything that requires a lot of force, but it does work well to gently clean my car.
The water pump will automatically shut off if the trigger isn’t pressed, in order to conserve energy and extend the pump life.
4 – Jump Starter
Full disclosure – I haven’t tested the Lokithor’s jump starter. My car battery is less than a year old, and I didn’t want to risk battery damage or an electrical surge with an unnecessary jump start.
That said, according to the user manual, the Lokithor can start gasoline engines up to 8.5 liters and diesel engines up to 6.5 liters. It can be used with all types of 12V vehicles including cars, motorcycles, boats, RVs, ATVs, SUVs, vans, tractors, and mowers.
When fully charged to 100%, the jump starter should deliver a starting current of 2500A and provide up to 60 jump-starts.
The jump starter is designed to safely start your car engine and includes built-in safety features, reverse polarity and spark-proof technology.
5 – Voltmeter
The Lokithor voltmeter measures the difference in electrical current between two points in an electric circuit. To test the voltage, you can connect the jump starter clamps to the EC8 connector on the Lokithor and then run the test.
6 – Air Inflator / Air Compressor
The Lokithor air pump inflator has a 150 PSI compressor and is supposed to inflate a standard car tire from 0 to 35 PSI in five minutes. This is my least-favorite feature on the Lokithor, because I found the instructions and design to be confusing.
According to the user manual, the air pipe connects to the output port of the Lokithor air pump. Next, you turn on the air pump power button and then set your desired tire PSI level.
My first criticism is that the Lokithor doesn’t seem to tell you the current PSI level of your tire. This is a standard feature that you get on other tire inflators, and is helpful to make sure you’re not over-inflating.
Also, if you don’t preset the target PSI before turning on the air pump, the Lokithor won’t automatically shut off once it reaches your target. This puts you at risk of overinflating.
At the end of this process, I discovered that I had somehow deflated my tires instead of inflating them. In summary, I found the Lokitar air pump to be confusing and overly complicated, and won’t be using this feature.
7 – LED Flashlight
The device includes a 500-lumen LED flashlight with three lighting modes. This is a great safety feature for emergencies or late night car problems.

Price and Value for Money
The Lokithor Jump Starter / Car Washer has a retail price of $239. It’s a bit more expensive that other comparable jump starters / air compressors – however, these do not include the car wash feature.
In my opinion, the Lokithor is a good value for the price because of the mult-functionality and unique combination of features it provides.
